The 2021-22 Trends in Private Clubs marks the 47th year of production for this annual report highlighting operating and financial trends of more than 200 clubs throughout Florida—the state with the highest concentration of private clubs.

This report is a nonsolicited statistical review comprised of data compiled from the latest annual reports of private clubs and associations audited by RSM US LLP. This methodology speaks to the integrity of the data and reliability of our findings.

We hope the story told by this data is never to be repeated; however, the results achieved by the clubs we work with area a testament to the fortitude, skill and hard work of leadership, management and staff.

There are a few things to note when reviewing the 2021-22 report:

  1. All government support has been removed from the operating data presented in the main section of the report.
  2. The COVID-19 impact section break data by region. Given the timing of various government shut downs, and re-openings, this section displays certain key operating data by fiscal quarter.
  3. The report also includes key information based on a club’s revenue levels.
